About AD Cough S Syrup

SALBUTAMOL+GUAIFENESIN+BROMOHEXINE belongs to a group of medicines called expectorants and cough products used to provide relief from cough. Coughing (dry or productive) is a body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus or smoke) from airways thereby prevents respiratory infection. Cough is commonly caused as a response to allergy or viral infection but coughing up mucus is possibly an indication of infection in the respiratory tract.

SALBUTAMOL+GUAIFENESIN+BROMOHEXINE is a combination of three drugs, namely: Salbutamol (bronchodilator), Guaifenesin (expectorant) and Bromhexine (mucolytic). Salbutamol relaxes and widens the muscles in the airways. Guaifenesin helps in loosening the congestion in the chest and throat, thereby makes it easier to cough out through the mouth. Bromhexine reduces the viscosity of the mucus and enhances its transport, making it easier to cough out. Together, SALBUTAMOL+GUAIFENESIN+BROMOHEXINE provides relief from cough.
